Barber/Stylist 1500-Clock Hour Course

The following items are necessary for enrollment:  Government Photo ID, Social Security Card or Taxpayer Identification Number, and High School Diploma or GED.

 

Enrollment Dates:  Open enrollment permits the student to enroll anytime there are openings.  Contact the admissions office for a reservation.  We usually start new classes on Tuesday or Thursday of each week.

 

Schedules:  Full-time attendance is 25 hours a week. The class day is from 9am to 7pm.  The class week is Tuesday through Saturday with alternating classes: Tue, Thu, and Sat or Wed, Fri, and Sat.

 

Length of Course:  14 months.  1500-clock hours are required for graduation as well as satisfactory academic progress.

 

Educational Objective:  The objective of this course is to prepare the student to pass the licensing examinations and to bring the student to entry-level proficiency for employment in the barber/styling industry.

 

Course Charges:  Tools – Those tools on the list below are the responsibility of the student to obtain – the estimated cost is about $700, prices vary.

Additional Fees:  Upon completion of the course, there are fees charged by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology for the licensing examination, usually $125, for which the student is responsible.

 

Refund Policy:  This College maintains a refund policy, which returns any unused portion of tuition in the event the student fails to enter the course or is discontinued any time before completion.

 

Please refer to the School Catalog or the Enrolment Agreement/Retail Installment Contract for complete terms and conditions.  In any event, we will conform to the standard set by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.

 

Course charges may be paid as follows upon Enrollment:

Tuition, 12 monthly payment of             $677
Total down payment upon enrollment  $2,000

200-Hour Cosmetology Crossover Course

The following items are necessary for enrollment:  Government Photo ID, Social Security Card or Taxpayer Identification Number, High School Diploma or GED, and a California cosmetology license.

Enrollment Dates:  Open enrollment permits the student to enroll anytime there are openings.  Contact the admissions office for a reservation.  We usually start new classes on Tuesday or Thursday of each week.

Schedules:  Full-time attendance is 25 hours per week. The class day is from 9am to 7pm. The class week is Tuesday through Saturday with alternating classes: Tues, Thu, Sat, and Wed, Fri, and Sat.

Length of Course:  Approximately four months of full-time attendance at ten hours a day.  200-clock hours are required for graduation as well as satisfactory academic progress.

Educational Objective:  The objective of this course is to prepare the student to pass the licensing examinations and to bring the student to entry-level proficiency for employment in the barber/styling industry.
